SHEEPLESS.ORG IS A COMMUNITY-SUPPORTED PROJECT

Like the people and businesses we champion, everyone working for Sheepless is devoted to changing the face and heart of local economies, not for financial profit. We do have hard costs, however, and rely on our readers and friends to help us grow through their support. Please help us reach our goals for 2010!

Any dollar amount is welcome and hugely appreciated. Here's a breakdown of how your support contributes to the success of Sheepless.org. Aside from the inspiration and resources found everywhere else on the site, here’s what’s in it for you if you give a little extra, too:

Pledge $25 or more

Thank you for supporting Sheepless! Pledges like yours help offset the cost of printing cards and flyers to get the word out and help us reach Activist Entrepreneurs.

We’ll send you a classic grey Sheepless teeshirt to welcome you to the community of supporters. (Right now we only have Mediums, but be sure to tell us if you want men’s or women’s tee!)

Pledge $50 or more

 We get
All of our contributors are volunteers. We do try, however, to cover developing and material costs for our photographers, illustrators, and videographers (coming soon!). This level of support allows us to think big about the ways we tell our stories.
You get
You're helping us get creative, so you will probably appreciate something entirely unique. We’ll send you a custom screen-printed teeshirt like those created by Post Expose. You can send us your own shirt (or bag!), or tell us a size and color and we’ll make it happen.

Pledge $100 or more

 We get
One of our goals is to meet every person or organization that we write about. There are amazing stories to tell in every town, and we're going to get to them whether by plane, train, or automobile. We rely on contributions of $100 or more to fund our local and national travels.

We’ll send you a custom teeshirt, like above, as well as a signature Sheepless SIGG waterbottle to help you save the world, spread the word, and look damn fine, all at the same time. (Specify if you’d like a 1L or .6L bottle)

Pledge $500 or more

A roof over our heads! $500 covers the cost of one months rent at our cooperative workspace for social entrepreneurs.

Welcome to the Contributor Level—donors of this amount get all of the above, as well as a permanent thank you with a bio, photo, and any links you provide, on your very own Contributor page over there next to our writers.

Pledge $1000 or more

A little bit teary. Once our other needs are covered, Site Sponsorships afford us the opportunity to hire and nurture a college-level intern interested in Activist Enterprise. Interns coordinate editorial calendars, seek and develop partnerships, and research valuable resources.
You get
This level of sponsorship is intended for established businesses, websites, and projects that align with the mission and the character of Sheepless.org. Contact us for a full list of cross-promotional benefits, which include a month of front-page banner placement, the opportunity to reach out to our audience directly, and all of the above kickbacks. Yes, this means you get a teeshirt too. Five, if you want them.
